Frankfort Announces 2008 Committee Members

Frankfort‘s Mayor Jim Holland and the Frankfort Trustees are pleased to announce the 2008-2009 Village committee appointments that are effective May 1, 2008.  Each application was reviewed by the Village Board before the mayor selected the appointees with the advice and consent of the trustees. Committees include Plan Commission, Community Services, Departmental Operations, Economic Development, Financial Affairs, Land Use and Policy, Utility Advisory, Tree Board, Youth Commission, Sign Appeals, 1890’s Theme, Fire and Police Commissioners, and Police Pension Board.

“It is very satisfying to know there is a strong level of interest in our Village committees.  Citizen input is welcomed by our board and staff.  The willingness of our residents to devote their time and energy to the community certainly is appreciated by me and the entire Village Board,” commented Mayor Jim Holland.  “On behalf of the citizens of our community, I thank the volunteers who served on our committees last year.  Their involvement and input is appreciated,” continued Mayor Holland.
